Carla Sue Bilz, 75, of Morningview, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Emerald Trace. Carla was a retired preschool director at Trinity United Methodist in Deland, Florida. She graduated from Holy Cross and was a member of St. Cecilia Church, Independence. Carla enjoyed crafts and sewing and volunteered with Pug Rescue of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Bettie Cottengim Schildmeyer and sister Shirley Schildmeyer.

Survived by her husband of 55 years Robert Bilz; two brothers Gregory and Karl Schildmeyer and her sister Tessie Schildmeyer.

Visitation 10 am till 11 am with memorial mass beginning at 11 am Wednesday, June 5, 2024 all at St. Cecilia Church, Independence. Inurnment will be in Mother of God Cemetery Mausoleum, Covington.
