David Matt, 73, of Warsaw, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. He was born on Christmas and thought it was very special, loved his family and was witty. He graduated from Holy Cross High School, loved sports, the Bengals, Reds and UK. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and playing horseshoes. David was a truck driver and worked for DHL. David loved having a good time, lived life to the fullest, loved music and had a great sense of humor. Preceded by his parents Robert and Rebecca Matt, his brother Robert Matt and his sister Hope Webster. Survived by his three daughters- Joelle, Leah and Kelly, two brothers- Jeff (Darlene) Matt and Paul (Amy) Matt, two sisters- Carolyn Shields (the late Stump) and Rebecca Riley (the late Michael); brother-in-law-Terry Webster, six grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

Memorial Mass will be 11 AM Sunday, August 24, 2025 at St. Patrick Church, 3285 Mills Rd., Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family at Mother of God Cemetery.
