David Bruce Stockman Sr. 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2024. He was a retired math teacher at Calvary Christian School where he also had been the girl's basketball coach. He was a missionary to Ecuador, music minister and a member of Gideon's International. David loved sports, especially the Yankees and Oklahoma Sooners. He loved to travel, enjoyed gospel music and spending time with his grandkids. He was active volunteering by giving to others and passing out Bibles. It was more important to him to be known as a Gideon that spread God's word rather than a math teacher or a coach.

David is survived by his wife Carla Solomon Stockman; two sons David Bruce Jr. (Carolyn) Stockman and Steve (Betsy) Stockman; daughter Michelle Stockman; brother Clifford (Joan) Stockman; nine grandchildren Benjamin, Luke, Trenton, Chris, Bethany, Nick, Amber, Amara and Alex; two great grandchildren Melvin and Greyson.

Visitation from 10 AM till 12 Noon with funeral service beginning at 12 Noon, Tuesday, July 2, 20024 all at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts St. Latonia, KY 41015. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.

In lieu of flowers memorials made be made "In memory of David Stockman" to Gideon's International, P.O. Box 18488, Erlanger, KY 41018 or  to Calvary Christian School Building Fund, 5955 Taylor Mill Rd. Covington, KY 41015 or to Fairhaven Rescue Mission, 260 West Pike St. Covington, KY 41011.
