Deborah Susan Milburn, Covington, KY, born December 11, 1957,

died Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Scarlet Oaks Rehab and Nursing Care in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Betty Milburn. She has one sister, Lisa

Benton (Steve) of Maineville, Ohio, and a nephew Mathew Benton (Carlie) of Columbus, Ohio.

Sue was born in 1957, having Cerebral Palsy and severe disabilities. In spite of those disabilities,

boosted by her family, friends, many productive years attending Redwood School in Ft. Mitchell,

Ky., and especially by her own determination, she learned many skills and found her "abilities",

becoming adept at using one finger to type, using custom keyboards that her father, Howard,

crafted for her to use on typewriters and computers. With a lot of effort on her part, and the

assistance of many friends, she was able to pass and obtain her GED, an accomplishment that

she was very proud of.

Sue operated a motorized wheelchair, enabling her to visit the many friends she had up and

down Beech Ave. in Latonia. She enjoyed going to parks and the mall where she could "drive"

her chair and feel free from her physical limitations and restraints.

To say "Thank You" is not enough to express gratitude to all the special people during her life

who gave their unconditional love and support to Deborah Sue and her family.

Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, 214 W. Southern Ave, Covington, Ky 41015 is handling

private funeral arrangements. Private burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Ky.
