Doug Steffen, 52, of Covington passed away on January 15, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  Doug graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1991 and then attended Cincinnati State College & NKU.  Over the years, he worked as a painter for Arlinghaus Builders and as a driving instructor for A-1 Safety Driving School.

Doug loved the outdoors: camping; hiking; rock-climbing; repelling; off-roading; & skiing.

He had a such a big heart, always with thoughts and love for his family & friends.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Steffen. He is survived by his sons, Tristen Steffen & Brayden Steffen; mother, Patsy Steffen; sister Marie Enzweiler (Matt); brother Chris Steffen (Nikki); former spouse Angel Foley Steffen and his nieces & nephews.

Memorial Gathering for the Friends & Family of Doug, Sunday February 1, 2026, 1-3 pm at River Knights (former K of C) 828 Elm Street, Ludlow ,KY 41016.
