Elsie Lloyd, 88, of Ryland Heights, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood.

She was a retired tax clerk with Union Central Life Insurance in Forest Park. Elsie was a longtime member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, she could play music by ear, she played piano and also played harmonica for special occasions at the church. Elsie loved God, her family and her church. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents Edmond and Mary Elizabeth (Martin) King; husband Joe Lloyd Jr. and great granddaughter Ava Grace Dorsey.

She is survived by her son Mark Lloyd; daughter Sandra Gullett; sister Francis Ducker; four grandchildren Benjamin Lloyd, Lauren Lloyd, Sarah (the late Mike) McLaughlin and Melissa Dorsey and two great grandchildren Mackenzie and Makayla Dorsey.

Visitation 11 AM till 1 PM with funeral service beginning at 1 PM Monday, May 6, 2024 all at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 6056 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Burial will be at Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
