IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Emma
Brumback
February 2, 2025
Emma Jane Brumback (nee Taulbee), 86, of Latonia, Kentucky, changed her earthly address to her forever heavenly home on February 2, 2025.
She and her husband, Tom Brumback, fulfilled "a life of sharing and caring together, a love of endless giving with Christ as the head" for 51 years of marriage, as written on their wedding invitation. Emma lovingly accepted the new role of motherhood to three young children at marriage whom she is survived by – Tonya Burns (Paul), Christine Miller (Tom), and Scott Brumback (Linda).
Emma was a '57 Boone County High School graduate and began working at Western Southern Insurance shortly thereafter, where she retired as an Executive Secretary after 40 years of service. Emma's personal relationship with the Lord directed all areas of her life. She served the Lord in her daily living as well as in her church, Calvary Baptist Church in Covington, KY. Here she taught preschool-aged children for 40 years as a Sunday School teacher and an AWANA Leader and served in the choir. She cherished her time being involved in CBC's Ladies Bible Studies as well as Evangelism Explosion.
Emma is also survived and loved by her Grandchildren: Andrew Caperton, Nick Caperton, Zachary Miller, Kevin Brumback, Miranda Noyes, Bethany Roseberry, Josh Burns, Emily Burns, Molly Burns and Serenity Burns as well as 15 Great Grandchildren. In addition, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews whose lives are positively impacted by the love and care of their Aunt Emma.
Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Moore and Marion Taulbee, nine brothers and two sisters. The youngest sibling, Jimmie Taulbee, was cared for by Emma as a loving member of the Brumback household for nearly 50 years of Emma and Tom's marriage.
She lived her life as she had written in the front of her Bible, "Make Much of Jesus Christ" and the repetitive "message" she voiced multiple times in her last weeks of life, "Love One Another".
Visitation 10 am till 12 noon with funeral beginning at 12 noon Friday, February 7, 2025 all at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts St. Latonia, KY 41015. Burial will be Saturday, February 8th, 11 am at Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Memorials may be sent to Calvary Christian School Building Fund, 5955 Taylor Mill Rd., Covington, KY 41015.
