George Griffin II, 50, of Independence, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was a senior technician and trainer with Advanced Mechanical and belonged to the Mechanical Union Local #392. Survivors include his father-George M. (Becky) Griffin and mother-Annie McDonald, three sons-George S. (Victoria) Griffin, Sage Griffin and Jeremy Griffin, spouse of 29 years Rayellen Vanarsdall Griffin, girlfriend-Sheryl Acree, one brother-Joshua (Jennifer) Griffin, two sisters- Jessica (Scott) Fletcher and Rissie Griffin-Wolfe, two grandchildren- Alex and Genevieve. Also survived by many friends and other family members. Visitation 4:00 to 6:00 pm Monday, December 20, 2021, followed by a Celebration of Life at 6 pm Monday all at SWINDLER & CURRIN FUNERAL HOME, INDEPENDENCE.
