Gregory Steven Wingate, 66, of Covington, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at St. Elizabeth, Ft. Thomas. Greg was assistant pastor at The First Baptist Church in Dayton, KY. He was involved in tutoring at The Moore Activity Center and he helped with the church food pantry and clothes closet. Greg taught special ed at Connor High School and was a big Reds, Bengals and UK fan

He is survived by his wife Nancy Dunn Wingate; son Timothy (Danielle) Dunn; brother Jeff Wingate.

Visitation 11 am – 12 noon will funeral service beginning at noon, Tuesday, March 12, 2024 all at First Baptist Church of Dayton, KY. Burial Floral Hills Cemetery.
