Obituary

Jeffrey Roger Stafford, 80, went home to be with his Lord, surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his home in Taylor Mill, KY. Born May 19th, 1941, in Silver Creek, New York, he was the son of the late Alfred and Ione (Johnson) Stafford. He was married to his wife, Nancy Ferrell Stafford for thirty-three years. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Jeffrey taught in Cincinnati Public Schools, Forest Park High School, and Winton Woods High School. He also worked as a butcher at Reading IGA. After retirement, he took a position as pharmacy assistant at Walgreens in Latonia.

Jeffrey was a faithful husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family, his friends, and his church. His love for them was only exceeded by his love for the Lord. He was a man of faith, a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia, where he served as an usher, an active member of the Monday Night Bible Study, and helper in Celebrate Recovery. Jeff loved coaching his son's soccer and baseball teams, and was an avid golfer, making two hole-in-ones during his lifetime.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ferrell Stafford, three sons, Craig (Laura) Stafford of Mt. Washington; Toby (Michele) Stafford of West Chester; Jordi Stafford of Mt. Washington; two daughters, Tiffany Boutwell of Florence; Kristen (Michael) Matgen of Remsen, Iowa; two step-daughters, Leigh Beloukid of Covington, Joanna (Calvin) Joseph of Cincinnati; one step-son, James Ferrell of Taylor Mill; and one sister, Judy Carr of Columbus, North Carolina. He was the proud Papa of Paige Stafford, Gabrielle and Lila Joseph, Haileigh Noll, Nash and Jocelyn Boutwell, Mia, Lily, Hazel and Nolan Matgen. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, his step-daughter, Carla Ferrell, and his sister, Jo Ann (William) Parker.

The family will greet visitors at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts Street, Latonia, KY 41015 on Saturday, July 10, from 12:30 pm till 2 pm with a memorial service immediately following.
