Linda Kay Marie Steele, 72, of Independence, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. She had worked as a housekeeper, she breeded Sheltie's and has a Sheltie named Buddy. Linda loved to play Bingo and enjoyed camping with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Kathryn Dingman and her husband Michael Steele in 2016.

Survived by two daughters Edith "Chicky" (Glenn) Belen and Angela Glass; two sisters Cindy Dingman and Gale Dingman; four grandchildren Glenn (Melissa)Belen Jr., Stephanie (Michael) Schmidt, Lindsay (Austin) Belen and Jasmine Smith; ten great grandchildren Adah, Jaida, Cameron, Aubrey, Lydia, Gabriel, Kassie, Lukas, Jakob and Michael.
