Martha Nhung Hoang, age 94 years, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at 1:43 P.M. at her daughter's home in Edgewood, Kentucky.

Mrs. Nhung Hoang was born September 28, 1929, in Dong Hoi, Vietnam, to Mr. and Mrs. Hoang Lien and Vo Thi Trac, both of whom preceded her in death.

Mrs. Nhung Hoang was a successful businesswoman in Hue, Vietnam until April 30, 1975 when she along with her husband and the children were forced to leave her country to come to the USA.  Mrs. Nhung Hoang was a caring and loving wife to Mr. An Tran.  The couple have 11 children. They love the Lord and had spent time together on pilgrimages to many countries.

Mrs. Nhung Hoang was blessed to died surrounded by her loving husband, children, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

In addition to wonderful memories, she leaves behind her beloved husband of 76 years, Mr. An Tran, 5 sons: Sanh (Phuong) CA, Long (Tho) KY, Tinh (Nhan) Belgium, Tien (T. Hai) KY, Ai (Shannon) KY, 6 daughters: Bich (Hung) CA, Van (Dung) CA, Thuy CA, Huong (Hoang) OH, Diem CA, My Le (Hien) KY. 31 grandchildren: Thùy (Vân), Uyên (Danny-deceased), Long, Dung (Lương), Tina (Việt), Lam, Linh (Marie), Melanie, Victoria, Du (Gayle), Ly, Linh (Kristina),  Ái Thy, Andrew (Lisa), Vincent, Leanna, Vivian, Daniel, Lianne, Amanda, Minh (Genna), Kristina, Maria, Steven, Patrick (Tonia), Tony (Jess), Khang, Liem (Regina), Matthew, Juliana, Jessica. And 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 12 at Swindler and & Currin Funeral Homes 214 W Southern Ave., Covington, KY. Family 5-6 PM, Prayer 6-7 PM, friends and family visitation 7-9 PM.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 13, 10:00 AM, at Holy Cross Church 3612 Church St., Covington, KY.  Burial to follow at Mother of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Holy Cross Church at 3612 Church St., Covington, KY 41015.
