Richard Allen Whisman, 66, of Covington, passed away at his home Tuesday, December10, 2024. Richard was a painter and a retired wrapper from Duro Bag Co. He enjoyed working and building things with wood and loved his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents-Albert and Vesta Whisman; a brother- Charlie Whisman and three sisters-Tammy, Tina Whisman and Kathy Stamper.

Survived by his wife Karen Douglas Whisman; four sons-Josh (Julie) Whisman, Richard (Kelly) Whisman, Colton (Rachel) Whisman and Cody (Sarah) Whisman; two brothers-Donnie (Shirley) Whisman and Danny (Sarah) Whisman; four sisters Jeanie (Gerry) Corrigan, Reedie (Marty) Smothers, Alberta Whisman and Lisa Whisman and six grandchildren-Hadley, Easton, Lane, Caroline, Maddox and Kai.

Visitation 1 PM till 2 PM with Memorial Service beginning at 2 PM Friday, December 20, 2024 all at Swindler & Currin Funeral Home, Latonia.
