William "Bill" Dale Tye, The Fonz, former US Navy Airman SS Saratoga, age 77, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, KY. Bill dedicated 40 years of service to the railroad. Bill was a boatman and spent most of his time on the Ohio River boating, fishing and camping. He was a classic car connoisseur. A mentor to many.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Bonnie and Alene Tye, his brothers Joe and Ray Tye. He is survived by his wife Nancy Tye; brother Roger Tye, sister Suzie Shell; his children Rocky Tye, Tammy Asbury, Timothy Tye, Tina Tye; step children Charles Coldiron and Jeff Lucas; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation 11 AM till 1 PM with a memorial service following at 1 PM Friday, February 11, 2022 all at SWINDLER & CURRIN FUNERAL HOME, LATONIA.
