William D Rusk (Sharky) passed away quickly early on the morning of November 16, 2022. He was 86 years old. He died in his apartment at Colonial Heights in Florence, Kentucky.

He is survived by his son, William D Rusk Jr (Billy), his daughter Mary Shannon Guest , and four grand- children Gabriel, Rachel, Brighton Guest, & Fjori Guest.

Sharky loved to work outside, whether at his church, Ft. Mitchell Baptist, or at the homes of his son and daughter. He was service manager at Rusk Heating and Cooling (when it was still named Montgomery Coal Co), before being disabled by a stroke at the age of 30.

Memorial service will be held at 11am (followed by lunch afterward) Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Fort Mitchell Baptist Church. Sharky donated his body to science at the University of Cincinnati. Memorials to Fort Mitchell Baptist Church, 2323 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky 41017.
